Medical Education in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu

Medical education is one of the most popular streams of education in India followed everywhere. Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is not an exception. Candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Biology can study medicine after Class 12th. Admission to medical colleges is done through NEET. Undergraduate medical education i.e. MBBS in India takes five-and-a-half years, including one year of compulsory internship. The period of four-and-a-half years (nine semesters, six months each) is divided into three phases. Doctors are in great demand and scope of this stream is enormous. They can work as private practitioners or can be employed in a private or government hospital. However, it is desirable to pursue a Master's degree after completing graduation.
