Teaching as a Career in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu

Teaching is one of the most common profession among all other professions in India and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is no exception. Many students decide to take up the teaching profession because of the love for teaching and sharing knowledge while others find it a convenient one especially women. However, one must have a professional qualification in teaching before applying to various schools. One can become a secondary or higher secondary school teacher or even an elementary school teacher. But whatever, one wants to teach, he or she must acquire professional training which includes both theory and practical classes. One can also become a teacher in a college or university after completing his or her PhD. Candidates with a Master's degree and equivalent can appear for National Eligibility Test (NET) offered by University Grants Commission (UGC).
